Roach season

As temperatures drop, and essentially in the north, GARDONS begin to appear. It is an extremely important species for competitive fishing across Europe and Portugal is no exception.
In relation to feeder fishing, we almost always chose to use the MATCH Roach bait by Timar Mix. It is a medium-textured bait that contains a lot of roasted hemp and small particles of corn, much appreciated by these white fish.

Along with the decoy, we mix some dead asticots, casters and some cooked hemp. We also use some glued asticot that essentially serves to activate the fishery and help to select the larger fish.

The hooks we advise are the Serie A da milo. It is a thin, light hook that allows you to make several catches without losing your beak, we normally use n ° 14 and 16.
